Job Description

Role & Objective The Senior Specialist – Planning & Performance Management is responsible for executing, improving, and controlling budgeting and performance management activities across ROX Group’s departments and subsidiaries. The position aims to optimize operating costs, strengthen financial control, and ensure that financial plans and business performance remain aligned with the Group’s strategic direction. Key Responsibilities 1. Budget Planning Develop detailed budgets for departments, divisions, and subsidiaries based on their business orientation and the overall objectives of ROX Group. Review planning assumptions and financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment across the organization. Consolidate, prepare, and submit annual or periodic budget plans to the relevant management levels for review and approval. 2. Budget Control and Performance Monitoring Monitor budget implementation across departments and subsidiaries to ensure compliance with approved financial plans. Analyze actual performance against planned targets, identify deviations, and propose practical solutions to accelerate progress, resolve operational issues, and support the achievement of business objectives. Prepare periodic management reports to provide timely information on budget utilization and organizational performance. 3. Cost Analysis and Control Analyze and control operating costs across relevant business units to ensure effective resource utilization and cost efficiency. Identify unusual expenses, significant cost fluctuations, and deviations from approved plans. Investigate the underlying causes and propose appropriate corrective actions. Prepare reports evaluating cost efficiency and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. 4. Financial Process Control Monitor and control financial management processes across subsidiaries to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance with the Group’s policies and applicable regulations. Identify weaknesses or potential risks within financial processes and propose solutions to prevent, control, and mitigate financial risks. 5. Other Duties Perform other professional responsibilities and assignments as directed by the line manager, in accordance with the requirements and priorities of the department and ROX Group. Job Requirements 1. Education Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or another relevant discipline. 2. Experience Candidates must have at least seven years of professional experience in financial management and accounting. Practical experience in managing or supporting financial operations within diversified or multi-industry business environments is required. Preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing or have obtained ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualifications. 3. Knowledge Candidates should have a strong understanding of corporate structures within diversified business models, as well as accounting standards and applicable financial and legal frameworks. The position requires in-depth expertise in finance and accounting, particularly in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, management reporting, and performance evaluation. 4. Skills and Competencies Candidates must demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and a proactive working attitude. Strong communication and presentation skills are required to effectively communicate financial information and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. The position also requires strong planning and organizational capabilities, together with the ability to read and analyze management reports, identify abnormal costs, evaluate financial performance, and detect deviations from key performance indicators. 5. Other Requirements Candidates should possess basic English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 300 or CEFR A1 level. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is also required. BENEFITS OF JOINING ROX GROUP 1.
