Accounting Associate

About the Role: Qormotho is expanding and we’re looking for experienced & passionate Accounting Associates to support our UK clients. This role offers exposure to international accounting & finance operations, direct interaction with CxO-level professionals, and outstanding opportunities for career growth. Job responsibilities: - Work with cloud accounting platforms (Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Sage, or similar) - Bookkeeping & processing general ledger transactions - Bank file uploads & weekly reconciliations - Invoice posting & supplier account reconciliations - Accounts receivable review & customer accounts analysis - Month-end review: trial balance, accruals, and prepayments - Management reporting and assisting board pack presentation - Generate & analyze financial reports and custom data dumps - Attend regular & ad hoc client meetings Key requirements: * Minimum two years relevant work experience * ⁠ACCA (part-qualified) or MBA/ BBA in Accounting & Finance * ⁠Excellent written & spoken English - Quick learner & able to work in fast-paced environment Working days & time: -> UK business hours (3:00 PM -11:30 PM BD time) -> 5 Days/ Week (weekend Saturday & Sunday) -> UK bank holidays -> Annual leave Location: 18th floor, MG SAM Center, Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh What we offer: -> Competitive salary based on experience & qualifications (decided through interview & assessment) -> Vibrant, energetic, positive & supportive workplace culture for you to grow -> Exposure to work directly with international clients at CxO level -> Employee showcase & recognition program -> ACCA exam leave, financial support & incentives (for eligible employees) -> Monthly training session organized through Qormotho Learning Hub -> Festival bonus, provident fund & regular office perks (including snacks!)
