Ensuring the safety, well-being and promotion of positive outcomes for all young people in their care. What you will do: Support young people within the home by planning, assessing and reviewing their goals and aspirations in relation to their well-being, health, education and behaviours and documenting this accordingly. Promote and demonstrate expected behaviours by building positive relationships, structures and routines, ensuring these are understood clearly by the children & young people and behaviour is managed consistently, fairly, respectfully and the children & young people are treated with dignity at all times. Confidently respond to accidents, incidents and emergencies reaching sound and logical decisions that ensures safeguarding and protection for children & young people in the home. Ensure the appropriate use of facilities and equipment within the care home as well as ensuring the accommodation and facilities are comfortable, safe, and accessible and take appropriate action to raise concerns if not at the required level within the home.
