About the role We're looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly team in Winnersh. You'll be supporting three individuals - two men and one woman - with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy to live active, meaningful and fulfilling lives. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a supportive, established team focused on creating a positive, person-centred environment where individuals can thrive. Who you will be supporting All three individuals are wheelchair users and have different routines, personalities and support needs. One gentleman requires 24-hour support due to partial sight loss, epilepsy and behaviours of distress. They enjoy a wide range of activities, including: Theatre visits, activity clubs and local walks Swimming - a real favourite Music festivals, bowling and seaside trips Community activities and social outings Your role will help them stay connected to the things they love while maintaining dignity, independence and choice. What you will be doing You'll support people with all aspects of their daily lives, including: Personal care delivered with dignity and respect Community support, providing 1:1 and 2:1 assistance Mobility support, including wheelchair use Meal preparation and supporting dietary needs Medication administration (training provided) Household tasks, including shopping, cleaning and attending appointments Emotional support, responding calmly to behaviours of distress Encouraging independence, confidence and meaningful engagement Shift patterns This is a 22.5-hour role worked across a flexible rota, including: 7:00am - 3:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm Sleep-ins: 10:00pm - 7:00am (£50 per sleep-in) Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
