As part of the company growth strategy, seek to recruit accounting officer, qualified professional to support in the development of the business growth and services support program. The officer shall be based in Accra. The Charted Accountant position is Independent Contracting subject to review per performance Key role The preparation and reviewing of financial reports The compilation and reporting to tax authorities of client tax returns, To source new business and promote the development of the financing of the licensed cocoa buyer Company (LBC) program under the cocoa beans program- www.thecocoabeans.com , as well as to help in the promotion and marketing of the golden natural cocoa products per standard authority compliance To help in the implementation of the Tax connect program on Tax education and compliance and Tax talk show -a media Campaign and discussion program, To help source for new business, ie auding and internal Audit services as part of business growth, in writing proposals, Oversee the bookkeeping services support element of the business growth strategy ,To help develop the investment appraisal model and evaluate the business financing strategy for clients, The officer upon successful being recruited shall report to the Associate partner Requirement. The prospective candidate must hold an accounting degree and a professional qualification eg ACCA /CA GH   Expert in Taxation /auditing /financial Management, understanding of investment and the cocoa industry shall be of great advantage Understanding of regulatory compliance within the Ghanaian business environments/ tax system/good governance principles is an advantage. Computer literate and strategic business development acumen an advantage Ready to travel as and when required Knowledge of business operation of the African development bank will be advantage Ability to write and review proposal and good supervision skill for skill transfer Must have at least 5 years of experience in a multi facet industry exposure and in the Accounting and financing field.  Candidate must be self-starter and goal getter, able to work with less supervision and ability to manage pressures Must have a management and supervision skills, ability to hold strong relationship with subordinate to achieve results
