What you will do:

• Oversee and lead child protection conferences, ensuring each child’s best interests are at the forefront of decision-making.
• Advise and support professionals in safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Serve as the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), managing allegations against those in positions of trust working with children, ensuring safe and effective measures are in place.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to develop robust child protection plans and strategies.
