What you will do
• Case Management: Independently manage a complex and varied caseload within the Family Safeguarding Team.
• Direct Work: Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Assessment: Undertake comprehensive assessments of social need, risk, parental capacity, and family circumstances.
• Safeguarding: Identify risks of harm and ensure timely interventions are implemented to safeguard children.
• Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review SMART, child-centred plans that support long-term positive outcomes.
• Court Work: Prepare and present reports, statements, and evidence for court proceedings where required.
• Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with education, health, police, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
• Risk Management: Monitor progress and evaluate interventions to ensure risks are effectively managed.
• Professional Practice: Work in accordance with Social Work England standards and the BASW Professional Capabilities Framework.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case
