What you will do
- Complete comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks of vulnerable adults, ensuring appropriate safeguarding interventions are in place.
- Develop and implement person-centred care and safeguarding plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
- Advocate for the rights, wellbeing, and independence of adults, ensuring their voices remain central to decision-making.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues, partner organisations, and community stakeholders on adult safeguarding matters.
- Manage a varied caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care, ideally in safeguarding services.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, the Care Act 2014, and relevant statutory guidance.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment and manage competing priorities.
