Full Time - 37.5 hours per week (Must be Flexible with Availability)
£13.96 per hour + sleep-in payments
Driver Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)

About the role
Are you someone who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments and loves meeting new people? If so, our Floating Support Worker role could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We're looking for flexible and confident Support Workers to provide cover across services throughout Worcester and the surrounding areas, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs.
No two days are the same in this role. You'll work across a variety of services, building meaningful relationships while gaining experience supporting people with different personalities, interests and support requirements.
Reporting to the Resource Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring people continue to receive high-quality, person-centred support whenever and wherever it's needed.

What you will be doing
Depending on the service you're supporting, you may be:
Encouraging independence and choice
Supporting people with daily living tasks
Providing personal care where required
Supporting medication administration
Helping people access their local communities
Supporting hobbies, interests and social activities
Building positive, trusting relationships
Following support plans and ensuring high standards of care
Working alongside a variety of teams and professionals
Flexibility and travel
This role requires a high level of flexibility, including:
Travelling across Worcester and the surrounding areas
Working a range of shift patterns
Supporting weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins where required
Shift patterns and service placements will be discussed throughout the recruitment process and matched wherever possible to your availability and contracted hours.
Because you'll be working across multiple locations, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
