About the role
We're looking for friendly, organised and proactive Support Workers to join our team in Wolverhampton (WV4), supporting two gentlemen in their 30s and 40s with learning disabilities.
This role includes supporting one gentleman within his home and providing 7 hours of outreach support each week, helping him access his community, enjoy his interests and maintain his independence.
The people we support are highly independent, sociable and enjoy full, active lives. You'll be someone who can encourage independence while building positive, professional relationships.
The gentlemen enjoy:
Karaoke and music
Visiting social clubs and bingo
Going to the gym
Cinema trips (especially action and horror films)
Gaming and watching gaming content
Visiting Birmingham and Merry Hill
Healthy eating and maintaining active lifestyles
Spending time at an allotment
Meeting friends and being part of their local community
You'll support with:
Promoting independence and choice
Meal preparation and healthy eating
Medication administration
Supporting hobbies, activities and community access
Building confidence and maintaining routines
Encouraging social connections and wellbeing
Shift patterns
Every Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm
About you

Experience is beneficial but not essential - we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
