Angus Women’s Aid (AWA) has an exciting opportunity for people to join our children’s and court advocacy team. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in working with women, children and young people who are victims of domestic abuse, and are passionate about making a difference.Angus Women’s Aid is a registered charity giving information, support and refuge to women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.We’re looking for 2 compassionate and dedicated Children and Young People’s Support Worker to join our team at Angus Women’s Aid. In this role, you will provide essential support to children and young people who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse.The successful applicants will have a recognised qualification for working with children and young people and will have at least 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people within a relevant setting. They will have an understanding about the impact of domestic abuse on children and young people and will be committed to working within the ethos of a feminist analysis of abuse.
