Our client is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join their Warehouse team as Forklift Operatives! Key Responsibilities: Goods In: Ensure all deliveries are checked against delivery notes, with no defects in products, packaging, or pallets. Book deliveries onto the system and rectify any discrepancies promptly. Picking Works Orders: Accurately pick orders ensuring every line is completed and update the system accordingly. Goods Out: Verify that all pallets contain the correct number of cases and that dockets match the product. Ensure pallets are added to the correct delivery note and loaded onto the right trailer. Forklifts & PPT: Complete daily pre-use checks and report any faults to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. Maintain cleanliness of forklifts and PPTs, topping up batteries as needed. Quality & Housekeeping: Uphold product quality and standards as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain a clean working environment by following "Clean as You Go" principles. Safety & Communication: Report any safety or quality issues promptly. Foster positive relationships with team members, management, and other departments to achieve production targets and meet customer requirements. Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a Warehouse or Stores environment is beneficial. Possession of Counterbalance & Reach Truck Licences is required. Ability to understand and learn the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for processing orders and stock locations. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within a large team. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
