ACT Rainforest Squad Operative

Are you an experienced, certified chainsaw operative?

Are you ready for an opportunity to help Save Argyll’s Rainforest? 

Join our Rainforest team, where we are working with communities and landowners to protect, restore, and expand the rainforests of Argyll.

With support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the ACT Rainforest Squad are responsible for practical restoration, expansion and maintenance projects in Argyll.

What you'll need

• A full UK driving licence
• Outdoor First Aid at work + Forestry (can be completed after a provisional offer)
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging terrain in all weathers
• A passion for the environment and habitat regeneration, particularly temperate rainforest.

Location: Sites across Argyll

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 p/a (depending on experience)
