Location: Bristol, Bath, Mendip Hills & Somerset Levels
40 hours/wk. Early September - end March 2027, possibly longer. Generous mileage allowance
£26,666.64 p/a pro rata

Opportunities for those passionate about nature and starting out in the conservation industry. Gain invaluable experience of countryside management and discover extensive networking possibilities. Join our small dynamic team undertaking felling, coppicing, reed cutting, tree planting, fencing, footpath installation and scrub clearance, mainly on SSSIs. We are proud to nurture a friendly and dynamic work environment where everybody feels listened-to and valued.
Although ideally seeking full time staff, there might be opportunity to work part-time. No weekends or evenings.

Essential
- NPTC Cross-cutting CS30 (refreshed where appropriate)
- Previous work experience and a high degree of practical aptitude
- Qualified or experienced in nature conservation/estate management
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weathers
- Own transport and be prepared to transport work colleagues (and tools) on occasion)
- Live locally
- Mobile phone
Desirable
- Herbicide Certificate PA1 & PA6AW
- Brushcutter certificate
- NPTC CS31/32/CS39
- First Aid
