About the role
As a Videographer/Photographer at Halfords, you’ll be responsible for producing high‑quality video and photography content that supports our retail, autocentres and digital and social channels. Your work will play a key role in delivering our marketing, PR and communication objectives.
You will collaborate closely with the Studio Manager to create compelling digital content that resonates with our diverse audiences. This ranges from everyday social content and website assets to YouTube content and hero creative for major multi‑channel campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Studio Manager to plan and execute briefs, including developing shot lists and storyboards during pre‑production.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to create video and photography content that meets KPIs, drives engagement, increases click‑throughs and attracts new audiences
- Respond to creative briefs by producing, shooting and editing innovative content across a variety of formats and digital platforms
- Support the development of distinctive, on‑brand visual outputs that align with Halfords’ wider brand, digital strategy and tone of voice
- Work closely with the Studio Editor and Asset Librarian to ensure accurate, first‑time delivery of assets across multiple channels including DAM, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and the Halfords website
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely delivery of all video and photography outputs
- Oversee the maintenance, preparation and organisation of all equipment as well as raising requests for additional kit, software or props when required
About You
- Experience producing content in both studio and lifestyle environments.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom
- Confident operating Sony and Canon camera systems
- Skilled in audio capture and familiar with lighting setups
- A creative thinker with strong conceptual and strategic abilities
- Solid understanding of video and photography production techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Flexible, solutions‑focused and able to adapt quickly to achieve the best outcome
