Support for Learning Assistant

Job DescriptionSupport for Leaning Assistant Myot View ELC Centre Falkirk Children’s Services is seeking to employ a Support for Learning Assistant at Woodburn ELC Centre to provide individual support for a child with additional support needs. You will undertake a range of support activities with the regard to general supervision, safety, care, and well-being of the child. Support for Learning Assistants are crucial to the successful delivery of our services to children and are valued team members in our setting. Good communication skills are essential, and the role will require supporting a child with mobility needs. You will be part of a busy team of staff and should possess a positive, can-do attitude and be flexible in your approach. The post at Myot View ELC Centre is part time (25 hours) working 9am -2pm, Monday to Friday, term time and is temporary within Falkirk Council until 25th June 2027. Please note the salary will be adjusted pro-rata accordingly for part time and term time working. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
