Connect Appointments is recruiting Packaging Operatives to join an established food production business based in Broxburn.Our client operates a busy chilled production facility, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with full training and PPE provided.What's on offer?Temporary ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employmentMonday to Friday, 6:20am to 2:40pm12.71 per hour - paid weeklyFull training providedPlease Note: This role involves working in a cold environment - full PPE is provided.As a Packaging Operative, your duties will include:Picking, packing and monitoring quality control of products on a fast-paced production lineOperating relevant production machinery and equipment safelyManual handling and weighing of products accuratelyStacking goods onto pallets for bulk shipmentsTo be considered as a Packaging Operative, you will need:Previous experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyGood time keeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamComfortable standing for long periods and working in a cold environmentInterested in this Packaging Operative role?
