Volunteer Stock Sorter – Teesside Hospice. Accountability: Deputy Head of Retail and Head of Retail. Location: Various across Teesside – Acklam, Coulby Newham, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Linthorpe, Marske, Norton, Redcar, Saltburn, Skelton, Stokesley, Thornaby, and Yarm. Time Commitment: Shops generally open 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Minimum of 2 hours per week preferred, discussed with Shop Manager. Tasks include: Preparing donated items for sale, using a clothes steamer to ensure clothes look their best, attaching labels and tags to donated items for easy browsing by customers, pricing of donations, identifying unsaleable donations for recycling, and keeping the stock room organised and tidy.
