Head Chef — Oren, Dalston We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Oren. Oren is an independent, chef-owned restaurant in Dalston serving ingredient-led Eastern Mediterranean food. Since opening, we’ve built a reputation for honest cooking, warm hospitality and a loyal neighbourhood following. Alongside the restaurant, we operate a growing production kitchen and delicatessen business. In 2026, Oren was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, recognising our commitment to quality, consistency and value. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Head Chef who is excited to build on that achievement and help shape the restaurant’s next chapter. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading a small team and maintaining the standards that Oren has become known for. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable leading a busy service, developing people, managing costs and maintaining consistency. You will work directly with the owner on menu development, seasonal changes and the continued evolution of the restaurant.
