Connect Appointments is recruiting a Bakery Assistant to join a busy bakery in Airdrie.Our client is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people and takes pride in making every customer feel welcome. If that sounds like you, this could be a great fit.What's on offer?Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks32.5 hours per week on a rota basis, between Monday to SaturdayShift start times of 7:30/8am, and finishing at 4pmA weekend off every three weeks on a rotational basisPaid at 12.75 per hourAs a Bakery Assistant, your duties will include:Welcoming customers warmly and assisting with enquiries and product recommendationsServing customers and processing transactions accurately using the till systemRestocking shelves and fridges and maintaining attractive, well-presented displaysKeeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the daySupporting stock management and organising stockroom areasTo be considered as a Bakery Assistant, you will need:A genuine warmth with customers and a natural ability to make people feel at easePrevious experience in a customer-facing, retail or hospitality environment is advantageousA reliable, punctual approach to workThe ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit teamInterested in this Counter Assistant role?
