Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based manufacturing client on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate. Our client is an established manufacturer offering a supportive working environment that places its people first. What's on offer? Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (early finish on Fridays) 13.33 per hour, increasing to 13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks) Paid weekly Immediate starts available As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include: Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults The ideal Forklift Driver will have: A valid Counterbalance licence Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Good spatial awareness and attention to detail A solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements The ability to work well as part of a team Interested?
