Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based manufacturing client on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.Our client is an established manufacturer offering a supportive working environment that places its people first.What's on offer?Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (early finish on Fridays)13.33 per hour, increasing to 13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks)Paid weeklyImmediate starts availableAs a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environmentStacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areasUnloading deliveries and consolidating partial palletsKeeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructionsCarrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faultsThe ideal Forklift Driver will have:A valid Counterbalance licencePrevious experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentGood spatial awareness and attention to detailA solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirementsThe ability to work well as part of a teamInterested?
