What you will do
- Housing Assessments: Conduct comprehensive housing assessments to identify needs and risks.
- Support Planning: Develop personalised support plans aimed at preventing homelessness and promoting housing stability.
- Housing Advice: Deliver tailored one-to-one housing advice and interventions.
- Accommodation Sourcing: Engage with landlords, letting agents, and housing providers to secure suitable accommodation.
- Tenancy Support: Assist clients with tenancy preparation, budgeting, and maintaining successful tenancies.
- Multi-Agency Working: Work closely with probation practitioners, local authorities, and housing organisations.
- Referral Management: Signpost and refer individuals to specialist services including mental health, substance misuse, and employment support.
- Partnership Meetings: Attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate interventions and support plans.
- Safeguarding: Manage risks, uphold safeguarding responsibilities, and promote safe working practices.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience within housing support, homelessness services, criminal justice, or community-based support services is desirable.
