"I've never felt more at home in a job than I do here." - Current Support Worker About the role We're looking for a patient, adaptable and positive Female Support Worker to join our teams in Shrewsbury (SY2). This is a unique role where you'll support individuals across several nearby services (within a two-minute walk), offering variety while still building strong, consistent relationships. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support across multiple settings. Who you will be supporting You'll support four adults (two men and two women in their 30s) with a range of needs, including: Cerebral palsy Down's syndrome Autism Learning disabilities Support includes: 1:1 support Personal care (for one individual) Mobility support (including an electric wheelchair user) Medication administration (for three individuals) Monitoring dysphagia for one person This is a role where attention to detail, consistency and understanding individual needs is essential. What you will be doing You'll provide varied and meaningful support, including: Supporting daily routines and independence Providing personal care with dignity and respect Supporting mobility and health needs Administering medication and following care plans Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement Working across services while maintaining consistent, person-centred support Building strong relationships with individuals, families and colleagues What makes this role special This is a friendly, relaxed and sociable environment where strong relationships are at the heart of everything. Shift patterns This is a 37.5-hour role with flexible shifts, including: 8:00am - 4:00pm 4:00pm - 10:00pm Long days: 8:00am - 10:00pm Sleep-ins: 10:00pm - 8:00am (£50 paid to sleep) Rotas are provided in advance to support work-life balance.
