Job Description
Main duties Patrol student accommodation buildings and surrounding areas. Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms. Control access by checking ID cards and visitor sign-ins. Respond to fire alarms, emergencies, and welfare incidents. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records. Assist students with security concerns, lockouts, or lost property. Liaise with emergency services when required. Report maintenance issues that could affect safety, such as broken doors, lighting, or fire equipment. Carry out opening and closing procedures for buildings. Provide a visible, reassuring presence to help prevent crime and antisocial behaviour.
