Job Description
Duties Monitor customers, staff, and visitors to help prevent theft, violence, and antisocial behaviour. Control access to staff-only areas and delivery entrances. Patrol the restaurant, car park, and surrounding premises. Respond to incidents such as disputes, aggressive behaviour, shoplifting, or medical emergencies. De-escalate conflicts using effective communication and customer service skills. Assist with emergency procedures, including fire alarms and evacuations. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records. Liaise with police or emergency services when necessary. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and report hazards. Key skills Strong observation and attention to detail. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude. Good report-writing and basic computer skills. Teamwork and reliability.
