Prepare and process bank payments accurately and on time. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with customer receipts and sales ledger activities. Support stock accounting processes, including stock reconciliations and inventory reporting. Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to stock, supplier accounts, and bank transactions. Assist with month-end procedures and management accounts preparation. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding finance queries. Support audits and provide information as required. Ensure compliance with company financial controls and procedures. The Successful Applicant A successful Junior Finance Assistant should have: Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance, accounts, or accounting assistant role. Experience processing bank payments and performing bank reconciliations. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
