Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Skegness Location: Skegness Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only Start Date: September 2026 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Skegness I C TALENT are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Skegness. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career and make a real difference to pupils' learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident leading whole-class sessions, delivering intervention programmes, and providing targeted support to pupils of varying abilities. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. • Lead small group and one-to-one intervention sessions. • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment activities. • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals. • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • HLTA status or equivalent relevant experience. • Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting. • Strong classroom management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning. • A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
