Your Responsibilities – Where you will make an impact: • Authentic Preparation: Independently cooking traditional Chinese specialties (e.g., wok dishes, dim sum, hand-pulled noodles, or regional classics). • Menu Planning: Contributing to the creation of new seasonal dishes and specialty menus. • Quality Assurance: Ensuring consistently high quality, freshness, and presentation for all dishes. • Inventory Management: Proper storage of Asian ingredients and assistance with stocktaking. • Hygiene: Strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and maintaining a clean workspace. Your Profile – What you bring to the table: • Professional Experience: Proven, multi-year experience as a chef specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine. • Expertise: Deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques (especially wok handling) and Asian ingredients. • Work Style: Ability to handle pressure, maintain an overview during busy service periods, and work in a clean, structured manner. • Team Spirit: Reliability, flexibility, and enjoyment of teamwork. • Language Skills: Good communication within the kitchen team (German and/or English skills; Chinese language skills are an advantage).
