IT Business Analyst - Oracle EBS R12 - 3 months Inside IR35

As an IT Business Analyst in this highly respected global team, you will immerse yourself in the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Accounts Payable and Payments solutions. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines as well as external banking partners. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into actionable technical configurations within Oracle EBS R12. To excel as an IT Business Analyst in this environment, you will bring substantial experience working with Oracle EBS Accounts Payable modules-particularly around payments configuration-and possess a balanced mix of functional insight and technical acumen. Your background should include developing XML templates tailored to unique business needs while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will have demonstrated your ability to create structured test plans that ensure robust software quality through every phase of implementation. Experience collaborating across borders-with both internal teams and external banking partners-will be invaluable as you navigate complex project landscapes. Your communication skills must be exceptional; you should feel comfortable guiding users through new processes or troubleshooting issues as they arise. A keen eye for detail combined with an analytical approach will enable you to spot trends in data usage that can inform future improvements. While familiarity with SWIFT Bureau services like TRAX would be beneficial, it is your commitment to teamwork, accountability within a global context, and passion for delivering dependable solutions that will set you apart. Extensive hands-on experience configuring payments within Oracle E-Business Suite Accounts Payable module, demonstrating deep understanding of both functional (80%) and technical (20%) aspects. Proven ability to develop XML payment templates that meet complex business requirements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Track record of creating detailed test plans, writing comprehensive test cases, and executing test scripts specifically for Oracle Payments modules. Experience performing multiple types of software testing-including functional, integration, regression, and performance-to guarantee system reliability. Demonstrated success collaborating with global stakeholders such as clients, managers, and banking partners on large-scale projects. Strong communication skills enabling effective knowledge sharing with internal users across various departments. Ability to maintain accurate requirement documentation throughout the software development lifecycle for transparency and accountability. Analytical mindset capable of conducting data analysis on application usage trends to identify opportunities for process improvement or innovation. Familiarity with SWIFT Bureau services such as TRAX is considered advantageous but not essential for this role.
