Position Summary This role is for a strategic marketing professional who will support the creation and execution of digital engagement and eCommerce marketing plans for Food Lion, including but not limited to awareness and conversion campaigns to drive forward customer loyalty and share of wallet. The individual in this position will assist in developing marketing strategies that integrate seamlessly across web, app, and eCommerce platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for customers. They will contribute to the evolution of the web and app platforms, working to enhance site experiences that boost customer engagement and satisfaction. Their knowledge in eCommerce marketing will be crucial for supporting growth and optimizing Food Lion’s online presence. As a key team player, this individual will collaborate with various teams to ensure that marketing efforts align with the company’s overall goals, maintaining consistency across web and app experiences. They will also monitor market trends and customer behavior, using these insights to help refine and improve marketing strategies continuously. This role requires a proactive, data-driven marketer with a background in omni-channel marketing and a demonstrated ability to contribute to results in a dynamic retail environment. Principle duties and responsibilities Assist in creating and executing strategic marketing plans that support the omnichannel customer journey from acquisition and conversion to retention. Drive forward eCommerce marketing efforts, generating growth and optimizing Food Lion’s online presence across web, app and eCommerce platforms. Collaborate with various teams to align marketing strategies with overall company goals, ensuring consistency across digital platforms. Cascade eCommerce marketing & business strategies to key ADUSA partners. Track and report eCommerce strategic campaign performance vs. channel and business KPIs. Enhance web and app platforms to improve site experiences, boosting customer engagement and satisfaction. Oversee the execution of eCommerce-specific digital discounts and promotions to drive sales and support various business initiatives Monitor market trends and customer behavior, using insights to refine and improve marketing strategies. Contribute to omni-channel marketing initiatives, delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment. Basic Qualification 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing for a retail or consumer-facing brand. Familiarity with creating and implementing marketing plans in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of digital platforms, including website and app management, and improving user experience. Understanding of data analytics and the ability to interpret results. Experience supporting promotions from concept to execution. Good relationship-building and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualification 3-5 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or marketing. Experience in supporting a team with development and management tasks. Proven ability to assist in creating digital marketing plans that align with brand strategy and meet set KPIs. Education Bachelor’s degree Experience Support the creation and execution of digital marketing strategies across web, app, and eCommerce platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience. Proficient in optimizing web and app platforms to improve site experiences, driving customer engagement and satisfaction.
