Payroll & Benefits Specialist (FTC to May 2027) London, (Hybrid Working) Part-Time (0.6–0.8 FTE) Fixed-Term Contract until May 2027 Competitive Salary + Discretionary Bonus We're looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join a collaborative HR Reward team and take ownership of payroll, benefits and pension administration across UK and Jersey entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, vendor management and continuous improvement in a dynamic and people-focused environment. The Role As the subject matter expert for payroll and benefits, you will: • Manage and reconcile monthly payroll submissions across the UK and Jersey, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery. • Oversee payroll reporting, pensions and benefits administration, partnering with providers including ADP, Mercer Marsh and Aviva. • Act as the key contact for employee payroll and benefits queries, providing guidance on parental leave, salary sacrifice arrangements and HMRC-related matters. • Manage the flexible benefits platform (Darwin), including annual enrolment, renewals, testing and employee communications. • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits and pension providers, proactively resolving issues and ensuring a seamless employee experience. • Support regulatory requirements including visa-related payroll obligations, international assignments and payroll audits. • Produce payroll and benefits reporting, management information and data insights while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. About You You'll bring: • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally using ADP or a similar payroll system. • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and payroll reporting. • Experience administering employee benefits and pensions. • Experience managing external supplier and provider relationships. • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ideally, you'll also have: • Experience using the Darwin benefits platform. • Experience within financial services or another regulated environment. • Exposure to international assignments and payroll-related tax considerations.
