Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a General Operative to join our Livingston based client. What's on offer? A full-time ongoing opportunityMonday to Friday, 7am to 4pm (with an early Friday finish)Paid weekly at 12.71 per hourWe're seeking someone to join the metalwork department, where you will help to clean/prepare parts for painting. In this role you will:Clean and degrease metal components to remove oil, grease, rust, and contaminants prior to paintingPrepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, wire brushing, or shot blasting to meet painting specificationsMask and position parts correctly for painting or powder coating processesInspect prepared parts to ensure surfaces meet required quality standards before paintingMaintain a clean and safe work area, including proper disposal of waste materialsFollow health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and equipmentTo be successful you will have previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
