TIG/MMA Welder Location: Wakefield (Weld Test - Thursday 2nd July, then various sites) Contract: 6-12 Month Contract Industry: Oil & Gas Start Date: Immediate Hours:40-60 per week Accommodation/Digs Allowance: £50 per day We are currently recruiting experienced TIG/MMA Welders for a 6-12-month contract with a leading UK oil & gas company. Successful candidates will be required to attend a weld test in Wakefield on Thursday 2nd July, with an immediate start available for those who pass. The role will involve TIG and MMA welding on boiler systems and industrial pipework, working on projects at various locations across the UK. Flexibility to travel and work away from home is essential. Pay Rates (Blue Book Standard) * Days: £23.25 per hour * Nights: £29.41 per hour * Overtime A: £32.55 per hour * Overtime B: £41.84 per hour * Accommodation/Digs Allowance: £50 per day Key Responsibilities * Carry out high-quality TIG and MMA welding on boiler systems and industrial pipework. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures. * Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards. * Work efficiently as part of a team on customer sites across the UK. * Adhere to all site health and safety procedures. Requirements * Proven experience in TIG and MMA welding on boiler systems and piping/pipework. * Ability to pass a weld test on Thursday 2nd July in Wakefield. * Previous experience within the oil & gas, power generation, industrial, or heavy engineering sectors is preferred. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Willingness to travel and work at various locations across the UK. * Available to start immediately.
