Service Advisor – Bodmin – Full time £29k plus upsell Well Placed HR is delighted to be working with a well-established automotive business in Bodmin who are looking to recruit a confident and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment, and is motivated by both service excellence and earning potential through upselling. As a key member of the front-of-house team, the Service Advisor will be the first point of contact for customers and play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and professional service experience from booking through to completion. Key Responsibilities of the Service Advisor - Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and identify their vehicle service needs - Provide clear advice on repairs, maintenance, and additional services - Confidently upsell relevant services and products to enhance customer experience and workshop efficiency - Liaise with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of work - Maintain accurate customer records and job histories - Handle payments and cash transactions accurately when required - Deliver exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships - Stay up to date with vehicle models and service offerings About You: - Previous experience in an automotive service advisor or sales-based role - Strong customer service and communication skills - Confident with upselling and meeting targets - Good understanding of vehicle mechanics is highly desirable - Highly organised with strong attention to detail - Professional, approachable, and able to work well under pressure - Full UK driving licence preferred Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with occasional Saturdays as required If you're enthusiastic about cars and thrive in a customer-facing role where no two days are the same, this is a brilliant opportunity to build your career with growing local business.
