Assistant Librarian/ Resource Assistant – Term Time Only | Up to £20.60 per hour (PAYE) Passionate about books, learning, and supporting young people? We’re recruiting an Assistant Librarian to join a thriving school environment – a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and engagement. Working alongside the School Librarian, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an efficient, welcoming and inspiring library service to both students and staff. You will: Manage issuing and returning of library stock Catalogue and prepare new resources for use Support students in accessing online and physical materials Run the overdue system and maintain library organisation Promote reading through engaging library activities Supervise students and support a positive library environment Assist with the library management system and stock control You’ll also step in to cover the Librarian when required , ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
