We are looking for caring, professional and resilient individuals to join our Social Work Call Handling Team. As the first point of contact for Social Work Services, you will support service users, families, carers and professionals, ensuring they receive the right information and are connected to the appropriate team.
What you'll bring
Experience in customer service, administration, contact centre or front line support
Excellent communication and listening skills
The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong IT, organisational and record keeping skills
A calm and professional approach in challenging situations
Key responsibilities
Handling calls and enquiries relating to Adult and Children's Social Work Services
Recording information accurately on Council systems
Directing enquiries and requests for support to the appropriate Social Work team
Escalating urgent concerns in line with safeguarding procedures
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
