Temporary Clerical Officer in the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Census Office The Central Statistics Office (CSO) are now seeking individuals who are ambitious, enthusiastic and fast learners to fill Temporary Clerical Officer roles in their Census Office, located in Swords, Co. Dublin. The CSO is Ireland's National Statistical Institute. Their role is to provide independent statistics about society, economy, and environment, which are freely available to everyone and support evidence-informed decision making. The Census Office within the CSO is responsible for the collection, compilation and dissemination of information on the social and demographic characteristics of the Irish population. This administrative role offers an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience over a short space of time while contributing to the delivery of a historical census. It is anticipated that the initial group of successful candidates in this competition will start the role in October/November 2026 and the contract will be for a period of up to 12 months.
