We are looking for an Associate Dentist to join Sherwood Dental Practice in Nottingham, working initially on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is an excellent opportunity for a general dentist with NHS experience who is looking to become part of a thriving practice with a strong patient base, modern facilities, and an experienced clinical team. Why Join Sherwood Dental Practice? Sherwood Dental Practice is a large, established mixed practice with eight modern surgeries and plans underway to expand to nine surgeries soon. With a team of 11 dentists, experienced support staff, hygienists, and a therapist, the practice has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality dental care to patients across Nottingham and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a dentist to take over an existing patient list and help meet significant ongoing patient demand. There is currently an empty surgery available and a large number of outstanding NHS patients waiting to be seen, allowing the successful candidate to establish a busy diary from the outset. We can offer: • Established patient list to take over from day one • Strong NHS demand with excellent diary utilisation potential • Some existing private and Practice Plan patients • Experienced and supportive clinical team • Dedicated therapist support working closely alongside clinicians • Modern digital practice using Exact software • Eight well-equipped surgeries with planned expansion to nine surgeries • Collaborative working environment with experienced colleagues across multiple disciplines • Opportunity to build both NHS and private income streams within an established patient base What You'll Be Doing • Providing high-quality general dentistry to a mixed NHS and private patient base • Taking over an established patient list with immediate patient demand • Delivering a full range of routine and preventative dental treatments • Building long-term relationships with patients and supporting their ongoing oral health • Supporting the continued growth and success of the practice through high standards of clinical care and patient experience The role offers a patient mix of approximately 70% NHS and 30% private and plan patients, providing a strong foundation for both clinical development and income generation.
