A varied role at a financial services business in Leeds city centre Offering fabulous benefits, see below About Our Client Our client is a financial services business that operates in the UK and overseas. The business has c. 300 employees worldwide. You will be based 3 days PW from the UK head office in Leeds city centre, and 2 days PW from home. Job Description You will be working as part of a team of 3 that is responsible for the processing of sales and purchase invoices. As part of your role you will be dealing with invoices from the UK and overseas, so you will be required to use AI features like CoPilot to support you with translating some of the invoices. Duties will include, but will not be limited to Maintain the purchase ledger and deal with UK and non-UK suppliers. Perform reconciliations of supplier statements. Processing expenses and company credit cards. Ensure invoices are approved in line with company policies. Payment of purchase ledger invoices via weekly BACS and SEPA files. Creating manual payments for ad hoc bank transfers. Raising sale invoices, post receipts & reconcile customer accounts. Journal postings for bank interest and any other receipts / payments to the general ledger. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Timely completion of month end ledger closing processes. Assisting the Corporate Accountants with queries.
