Social Worker within the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team in Conwy, earning £39.95 per hour. Based at the Coed Pella office in Colwyn Bay, this role is expected to run for approximately 12 weeks, with the potential for extension.

What you will do

• Duty Social Work: Deliver high-quality duty and safeguarding services to children, young people, and families.
• Referral Screening: Support the Team Manager with the triage and screening of incoming referrals.
• Decision Making: Contribute to timely and informed safeguarding decisions to ensure children receive appropriate support and protection.
• Short-Term Intervention: Undertake signposting, information sharing, and short interventions where required.
• Safeguarding Practice: Work in accordance with the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and All Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
• Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with partner agencies within the MASH framework to provide coordinated responses to safeguarding concerns.
• Risk Assessment: Assess risk and identify appropriate pathways for intervention and support.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with service standards and statutory requirements.

• Social Work Qualification: Degree in Social Work or equivalent recognised qualification.
