What you will do:

• Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to risks.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and support planning to promote safety and independence.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, including strategy discussions, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings.
• Work collaboratively with health, housing, police, and voluntary sector partners to deliver coordinated interventions.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records in line with council policy and regulatory standards.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Equality Act 2010
• Understanding of safeguarding adults policies, procedures, and Making Safeguarding Personal principles
