Job DescriptionBased in one of our schools, you will work part time, 32.5 hours per week term time only (reduced hours will be considered), on a temporary basis until 2nd July 2027.

You will assist the Principal Teacher (SFL) and class teachers in the provision of educational programmes designed to meet the requirements of children and young people with additional support and wellbeing needs.The IndividualYou will have experience of working with children and young people, including those with learning needs. You will also have experience of word processing, computer input and general admin duties with good communication and keyboard skills.
You will have the ability to work well under direction, use own initiative as required and work as part of a team. You will be reliable and conscientious with a friendly, open nature and a flexible attitude to sharing responsibilities and willingness to undertake training.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
