What you will do:

• Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, devising formulations for individuals within the prison setting.
• Deliver and evaluate person-centred care plans, ensuring they adhere to NICE guidance, NHS standards, and Trust policies.
• Administer and monitor medication in alignment with NMC standards and medicines management protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, prison staff, and external agencies.

Qualifications:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification (RMN)
• Valid NMC registration
• Evidence of continuous professional development

Registration and Compliance:

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983/2007), Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Equality Act 2010
• Awareness of NHS clinical governance frameworks and CQC standards
• Prison clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
