Hybrid working Progression & development About Our Client This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience from a similar role who is keen to broaden their finance knowledge and progress their career. You will have experience in invoice processing bank reconciliations and payments. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily financial operations of the business while also gaining exposure to wider finance activities. Job Description Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching, and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Managing supplier queries and building strong working relationships Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs (BACS/CHAPS) Assisting with bank reconciliations and investigating variances Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments Producing regular reports on outstanding liabilities, aged creditors, and cash flow support Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance department as required. Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
