A superb opportunity for a S/NAM to join a leading World Food Distributor to head up a £35m P&L portfolio of brands into Tesco's. With category captaincy, you'll partner with Buyers on leveraging existing brands as well as landing new consumer led opportunities for world brands. Client Details An established world food distributor who have representing brands from around the world (Eastern Europe to Asia) for over 25yrs, driving brands into the UK retailers. They've been hugely successful and have deep, trusted relationships with the grocers and beyond. This lends itself to the 'people' culture they've created and attracted talent looking for a modern / human orientated environment where you have a voice and genuinely contribute to the business objectives Description Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets and drive growth within Tesco Build and maintain strong relationships with key Buyer stakeholders Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities, providing actionable insights to optimise performance Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless account management Negotiate contracts and promotional plans with Tesco to maximise profitability Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may impact account performance Represent the company at key Tesco meetings and events, maintaining a professional and positive image. Profile A successful Tesco National Account Manager will have: Alignment with Values, Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and resourcefulness Demonstrable P&L ownership of a key retailer / grocery account Excellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills. Strong analytical capability with experience using retail data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, or retailer data). Preferred : Experience managing a Tesco account Knowledge of World Foods and/or Central/Eastern European grocery categories Passion for food, culture, and consumer trends.
