Supporter Services Assistant £28,756 pa + benefits London, SE5 8FJ - hybrid working available Are you passionate about helping people and delivering excellent customer service? This role would suit someone with experience in customer service, retail, administration or a contact centre environment who enjoys helping people and providing a positive experience. We are The Salvation Army’s Supporter Services team, part of a high performing Fundraising Department. We’re the first people supporters reach when they get in touch, and we take pride in offering a service that feels warm, personal and genuinely caring. Each day we process donations and respond to enquiries, making sure supporters feel informed, valued and appreciated. When concerns arise, we respond with sensitivity and professionalism. The successful candidate: We’re looking for someone who cares about people. Someone who listens well, communicates with warmth, and enjoys helping others. You’ll bring empathy, patience and a positive attitude to every interaction, whether you’re answering a question, solving a problem or simply brightening someone’s day. You’ll also be flexible, positive and keen to learn. Key responsibilities: Being a friendly, helpful first point of contact for supporters. Responding to questions and requests with patience, care and clarity. Processing donations with accuracy so supporters feel confident and appreciated. Recording supporter details accurately to help keep their journey smooth.
