Job Overview: As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will play a crucial role in ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces in resident rooms, common areas, and staff spaces. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas, including bathrooms, dining areas, lounges, hallways, and offices. Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, while ensuring the proper care and handling of residents' clothing and linens. Adhere to established infection control policies and procedures, following cleaning protocols to prevent the spread of infections. Coordinate and collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication. Respond promptly and courteously to residents' requests, providing assistance and support when needed. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control protocols, and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
