Job Purpose The primary role of a Head Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees. Job Overview This is a critical position as you will be the company's first line of defence against any potential threat to both the employees and visitors. You will always be on the lookout for suspicious behaviour and activity, dealing with any conflict in an appropriate manner. Main Duties and Responsibilities Control entry and exit route Screen and search visitors Ensure visitor is not under the age of 18 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons Check I.D of visitors and conduct bag checks Crowd control Supervisor customer arrivals Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue Prevent theft and any violence at the venue Respond to any emergency at the venue and deal with any conflict in an appropriate manner if required Requirements A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence or Close Protection Badge First Aid at work certificate Right to work in the UK Excellent communication skills and customer service Be able to work as part of a team Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations calmly Professional and polite but assertive Physical fitness and endurance
