Credit Controller - Warrington £28k to £29k About Our Client An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established and growing business based in Warrington. This role offers the chance to become part of a supportive and close-knit finance team within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Job Description Managing and maintaining a portfolio of customer accounts Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts Monitoring aged debt and producing relevant reports Working closely with internal departments to resolve account issues Supporting month-end processes where required Ensuring all credit control activities are completed in line with company procedures The Successful Applicant Previous experience within a Credit Control position Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proactive and results-driven approach What's on Offer Hybrid working arrangement Standard working hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm with some flexibility available Supportive and collaborative team environment Established processes and systems Opportunity to work within a varied and fast-paced role Career development opportunities within the wider finance function Fully funded AAT qualification support Annual leave increasing with length of service, up to 25 days
